We're safely in New York City and it's easier to be in class today with the pouring rain outside. We've seen the World Trade Center site and have done quite a bit of walking in the evenings. Of course, we've had some great food! We're going to a play tonight and I'm meeting a colleague who lives in the city for dinner tomorrow night and hopefully another play will be included in events for Friday or Saturday.

Some other new professional opportunities are presenting themselves - opportunities I never expected but have worked hard to create. And, hopefully, my colleague's other predictions will come true that right behind the professional will be the personal.
